Breathe. Just breathe sincerely through your nose and let the stress deplete from your muscles as much as possible. The player is absorbed in a fantasy world that is completely separate from his or her reality. Studies even show that thirty minutes of playing video games can reduce stress levels significantly.
Take a natural herb. St. John's Wort is a natural herb which studies show that can help alleviate stress and depression.
Get a hobby. It's important to have time to do something just for fun. Such activities are gardening, scrapbooking, photography, writing, playing an instrument, etc. These are just small examples that can help keep your mind focused and away from stress.
