Step 1) We all have internal conflicts. For example, I want to be financially successful but I don't want it to cost me my principles. OR I love my parents; I just don't want to see them everyday. OR I want to make a lot of money, but I want to be spiritual too. The first step in resolving internal conflicts is RECOGNIZING THEM. Write them down! You are going to have to do some thinking and some soul searching to bring these conflicts to light.
Step 2) After you have listed your internal conflicts, make a DECISION that you are going to go about resolving these conflicts. Nothing sets the stage for any type of conflict resolution like a decision to change and to grow!
Step 3) The third step in resolving internal conflicts is making a PRAGMATIC PLAN. Here are some examples of internal conflict resolution:
Ex) I love my parents, but I don't want to see them everyday. Make a decision to see them only on Sundays. Don't go into business with them! Ex) I want to make a lot of money, but I want to be spiritual too. Take a look at the millions of people who make a lot of money but who also tithe, give millions to Red Cross, etc. A pragmatic plan is essential.
