Try self hypnosis techniques to help you overcome your fears.
Place yourself in a deep trance by sitting or laying down in a comfortable position. Slowly relax your entire body by concentrating on each section of your body from your toes to your head. After you are completely relaxed, visualize yourself walking down a flight of ten stairs, as you walk down the stairs look at every detail of the stairs, when you reach the bottom you will be in a deep trance.
When you are in the trance give yourself a command. Such as "I will no longer be afraid of spiders." Only give yourself one command per session. When you are ready to come out of the trance, tell yourself that when you reach the top of the stairs you will be out of the trance. Slowly walk up the stairs as you count down from ten to one.

Create a mantra that you can say to yourself everyday, throughout your day. You may want to print it out and post it in various locations in your home and car. Such as on the dashboard of your car or on the refrigerator.
Even when you think that you are over your fears, keep using your mantra. Your mantra should be something that you can incorporate into your life for a long period of time until you no longer notice it.
Knowing how to be free from fear will help you live a happier life.
Take baby steps in your recovery. Don't force yourself to face your fears too quickly. Just face them as they naturally come into your life.
Know that you can face them and continue with your life unscathed. You no longer need to fear anything, not spiders, not people, not situations. You do not need to hide in your home any longer.
