Make a commitment to yourself that you will start conquering some of your fears one by one. Decide that you will live each day with a strength and courage that you never imagined you would have.
Write down in a journal or a notebook some of your biggest fears. Be specific and write down what it is about that fear that is so scary. You can even write down some of your less powerful fears, as these can have the power to affect your life on a daily basis as well.
Also, in that same journal, write down some of the things that are not going well in your life right now. Be specific as well, as you want to get to the nitty gritty of things.
Now write down on paper the things that are going well in your life. You could list anything, such as that you are now eating right, or that you or your family members are in good health. Be sure to include everything that is positive in your life now.
This is one of the most important steps in how to live with courage when things are not going your way. Write down some of the ways that you think you can conquer some of your fears and adversities. Write down only things YOU CAN CONTROL.
It is these things that you can work on daily to help live your life more courageously. These are the things that you have the power to change.
Release those fears and circumstances that you cannot control. There is nothing that you can do about these things, and fear and worry is not going to do anything to change these things. Lets these go, and you will be more peaceful.
Tell yourself each morning that you are a strong, brave, and courageous person, and that you will learn how to live with courage every day of your life.
