How to Relax and Reduce Your Daily Stress

Take a few minutes out of your day to de-stress and relax. Use your breaks at work to have a few minutes to yourself if possible. All you need is a quiet place to youself with no distractions.

While sitting let you arms hang at your side or place them in your lap. Feet should be flat on the floor. Close your eyes and breathe deeply through your nose. Relax your body and try not to think of anything negative or anything that may be causing you stress.

While you are at home, turn off the tv, phone, and other distraction devices and listen to soft soothing music. Doing this in the dark or by candlelight helps too. Twenty minutes of this everyday can work wonders at helping you de-stress.

Sure you can spend money going to a nice expensive spa, but you can also have spa-like treatments in your own home. Take a bath with essential oils and rose petals. Have your partner give you a full body massage.

Try going for a nice walk, or a drive alone, away from the city noise if you can.
